Participate in an exclusive swim clinic coached by Dick Sidner in Noblesville, Indiana on June 7th, 2020 at Morse Reservior (Beach).
The Spring Swim Session will be an introduction to better open water swimming!
This will be a 90 minute - 2 hour clinic!
The agenda is as follows, but is subject to modification:
Discussion & in-water practice of the following:
- Wetsuits, types, usage and removal
- Various venues for open water tri swims
- Pre-race course reviews
- Warming up
- Beach starts and finishes
- Sighting and goggles
- Buoys and turns in races
- Swim drafting
Kayak support will be provided.
The clinic will be limited to 15 participants, at first come first serve basis.
Note: Social distancing, when not in the water, will be strongly encouraged! Self-screening required. That questionaire will be provided prior to the event day.
What to bring:
- Swimsuit
- Swim Cap & Goggles
- Towel
- Wetsuit - will monitor lake temps. Currently, you could swim without one but would take some warming up.
- Flipflops or sandals, for foot protection
- Water
- Optional but encouraged - Swim Bouy Personal Safety Device
- Optional - Floaties and Fun Times Stuffs to hang out and relax after!
